February 20, 2025 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 9700 Leawood Boulevard about 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday (February 19).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Burrow and R. Watson reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive male who had been shot. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the male to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

At this time there is no known motive or suspect description.
