February 17, 2025 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9400 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road about 11:05 p.m. on Saturday (February 15).

The identity of the deceased female, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer C. Brothers reported:

The female was driving a gold Chevrolet Suburban southbound near the above address when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The Suburban then struck multiple cars in a dealership parking lot and flipped over. The driver was ejected.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the female to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The investigation is continuing.
