September 26, 2023 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 5622 Birchmont Drive about 10:05 a.m. today (Sept. 26).

The identity and cause of death of the male are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Casso and M. Brady reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics personnel responded to a call of an unresponsive male found at the above address. The male was in advanced stages of decomposition.

The preliminary investigation found no immediate signs of foul play and the investigation is pending results of an autopsy.
