September 11, 2023 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a person found at 10823 Saint Marys Lane about 4:05 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 10).

The identity, gender and cause of death of the person are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

HPD Homicide Division Detectives  C. Vaughn and A. Herrera reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department personnel responded to the residence at the above address and found the deceased individual in the front yard. The person had suffered major burn injuries all over the body. Paramedics pronounced the person deceased at the scene.

The investigation is pending the results of the autopsy.
