September 6, 2023 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 13360 Northborough Drive about 12:00 a.m. on August 23.

The suspect, Yetzel Moreau, 18, is charged with murder in the 185th State District Court. A booking photo of Moreau is attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim, 30, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective A. Hernandez reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call in a business parking lot at the above address and were advised the victim had suffered multiple gunshots and was transported via private vehicle to an area hospital.  He was later pronounced deceased.

Further investigation identified Moreau as the suspect in this case. Officers with the HPD Northbelt Crime Suppression Team arrested Moreau on Tuesday (Sept. 5) and he was subsequently charged today (Sept. 6).
