November 27, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3900 Old Spanish Trail about 7 p.m. on Saturday (November 25).

The deceased woman is identified as Carol Coleman, 54.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer X. Zhang reported:  

Ms. Coleman attempted to cross Old Spanish Trail - not in a crosswalk - near the above address when she was struck by a gray Mercedes GLA 350 traveling eastbound.  She was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.  

The female driver, 54, of the Mercedes, who remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.
