November 27, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 880 Federal Road about 5:40 p.m. last Friday (November 24).  

The identity of the male victim, 28, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. James and Officer D. Jones reported:  

The victim was operating a black Suzuki GSX motorcycle northbound near the above address.  The driver of a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck traveling southbound on Federal Road attempted to turn into a business center parking lot.  As the Silverado crossed the northbound side of Federal Road, the motorcycle struck the pickup truck.  

The victim was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased,  The male driver, 41, of the Silverado, who remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired.  He was questioned and released.  

No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
