November 15, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3000 South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610 West) that occurred about 3:50 a.m. today (November 15).  

The identity of the deceased female, 37, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Best reported:  

The woman was on the main lanes of the freeway near the above address when she was struck by a vehicle of unknown make or model.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop to provide medical assistance.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the female deceased.  

At this time, there is no known vehicle or suspect description.
