May 30, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 6767 Bennington on Friday (May 26) about 5:10 p.m.

The identity of the male victim, 17, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patters and N. Henderson reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address.  Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

A witness stated they saw an armed male exit a white Chevrolet sedan, heard gunshots and then saw the sedan flee the scene in an unknown direction.  At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
