The identities of the three deceased persons - a male, 64, a female, 55, and a male, 16 - are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Wilson and Detective J. Escobar reported:
Officers were dispatched to an assault in-progress call at the residence at the above address and were advised that a 911 call taker heard a female on the other end of the phone telling someone not to hurt her. Another voice heard was telling the female to hang up the phone. The call taker heard gunshots before the call disconnected.
Officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics forced entry into the home when there was no answer at the front door. Inside the residence, officers found a male in the living room, another male in the hallway and a female in a bedroom. All had suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased. The shooting is believed to be a double murder/suicide and domestic violence incident.
