July 24, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and the wounding of four men at 10700 Rosehaven Drive about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday (July 22).  

The identity of the female victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Two adult males were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening wounds and two other adult males sustained superficial wounds and were treated at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a park at the above address and found several persons with gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced one woman deceased and transported two males to area hospitals.  Two other males were treated by paramedics and released at the scene.  

A preliminary investigation indicated an argument occurred in the parking lot, which resulted in multiple persons producing handguns and shots being fired.  The investigation is continuing to determine how many of the four wounded males discharged a weapon.
