July 11, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9100 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 10:10 p.m. on Monday (July 10).

The identity of the victim, 67, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective K. Fregia reported:

Officers were dispatched to a person down call at the above address and found the victim lying in a grassy median.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses reported seeing the suspect steal the victim's vehicle and then park it in a residential area near the shooting scene.  There is no known suspect description at this time.
