July 10, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 4100 Campbell Street about 5:10 p.m. last Thursday (July 6).

The identity of the victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Montalvo and E. Martinez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a meet-the-firefighter call at the above address and learned paramedics were dispatched to the scene and observed the victim in a field.  He had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
