February 13, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9100 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road about 6:45 p.m. last Friday (February 10).

The identity of the deceased male 30, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer F. Serna reported:

The driver of a red Ford Mustang was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on the service road near the above address. The driver lost control of the vehicle, struck a curb two other vehicles, a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a Mitsubishi Eclipse, and then a fence. The Toyota and the Mitsubishi sustained minor damage. The male driver of the Mustang was pronounced deceased.

The drivers of the Toyota and the Mitsubishi were not injured.

The investigation is continuing.
