December 21, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7800 Grow Lane about 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 20).

The identity of the victim, 43, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Graf and E. Torres reported:

Officers were dispatched to a person down call and found a man unresponsive in the street at the above address. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives learned the victim was working on a vehicle prior to the shooting. At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s).
