December 11, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4700 Wenda Street about 11:25 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 10).

The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Persad, K. Fregia and J. Diaz reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of the apartment complex at the above address and found the victim with an apparent gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect.
