December 11, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 8300 Broadway Street about 8 p.m. om Saturday (Dec. 9).

The identity of the deceased male, 26, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer R. Guzman reported:

The male, a pedestrian, was walking across the street at the above address - not in the designated crosswalk - when he was struck by a black four-door SUV traveling northbound on Broadway Street. The driver failed to stop and render aid and fled the scene. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
