August 29, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1400 Greens Parkway about 9:55 p.m. on Monday (August 28).

The identity of the victim, 32, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective S. Overstreet reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a park at the above address and found the victim unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.

A witness reported hearing multiple gunshots, then saw the victim lying in the grass and called 9-1-1.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect description.
