August 21, 2023 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the the fatal shooting of a man found at 9707 Braeburn Glen Boulevard about 9:40 p.m. on September 12, 2022.

The suspect, Michael E. Davis, 43, is charged with murder in the 232nd State District Court.

The victim is identified as Steven Davis, 33.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective D. Hobson reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found an unresponsive male, later identified as Mr. Steven Davis, lying on the side of the road. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics where he was pronounced deceased.

According to a witness, a white newer- model Jeep Renegade fled the scene at a high rate of speed immediately after the shooting.

Further investigation identified Michael Davis as a suspect in this case. Davis was arrested last Friday (August 18) without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
