August 7, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4700 South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610) service road about 4 p.m. last Friday (August 4).

The deceased male is identified as Thryllel Evans, 26.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer J. Louangpho reported:

Evans was driving a gold Toyota Camry at a high rate of speed on the service road near the above address when he lost control and drove up the freeway embankment. The Camry then rolled over onto the main lanes of the service road and struck a silver Chevrolet Impala. Evans was partially ejected from the vehicle.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased. An adult female passenger in the Camry was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, 24, of the Impala was not injured.

The investigation is continuing.
