UPDATE: Person of Interest Sought in December 2019 Fatal Shooting at 5021 Longmeadow Street
September 19, 2022 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 5021 Longmeadow Street about 7:35 a.m. on December 29, 2019.
The person of interest is described only as a black male wearing a red hoodie with lettering "Rebel" on the left arm, faded, gray jeans and red tennis shoes. Surveillance photos of the person of interest is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Alec Marrow, 20.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Tyler and B. Evans reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the front yard of the residence at the above address. Mr. Marrow had just been dropped off at the residence when he was fatally shot by an unknown suspect. A neighbor reported seeing a dark gray or charcoal-colored Dodge Charger in the driveway of the residence before hearing a loud noise, believed to be a gunshot. Photos of the vehicle, driven by the person of interest, are attached to this news release.
