September 12, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2851 Wallingford Drive about 12:45 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 11).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Collier and J. Stroble reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and were advised that paramedics pronounced a male victim deceased inside an apartment.  The man had suffered at least one gunshot wound.

There is no known suspect description or motive in the shooting at this time.
