October 11, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another man at 6061 Beverly Hills Street about 4:25 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The second victim, 32, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detectives J. Jorsch, C. Sharp, and E. May reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found two males suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced one victim deceased at the scene, and transported the second victim to the hospital.

Investigators learned one unknown suspect fled the scene in one of the victims' silver 2012 Kia Optima. A second unknown suspect fled the scene on foot.
