October 3, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 13115 Whittington Drive about 7:40 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 2).

The identity of the victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detective J. Gardner and J. Brooks reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found a man unresponsive in the staircase of one the buildings. The man had been shot and was pronounced deceased by paramedics.

Witnesses stated the suspect fled in a black Hyundai or Honda sedan. There is no suspect description or motive in the shooting at this time.
