June 21, 2022 - Houston police have arrested a second suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 9828 Blackhawk Boulevard about 1:05 p.m. on January 20, 2018.

The suspect, Johntiz Robertson, 23, is charged with capital murder of in the in the 263rd District Court. A booking photo of Robertson is attached to this news release.

Another suspect, Reginald Hawkins,22, is charged with capital murder in the 174th State District Court. A 2018 booking photo of Hawkins is attached to this news release.

Robertson and Hawkins are charged for their roles in the death of That Huu Le, 75.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Barr and M. Perez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a grocery store parking lot at the above address. An investigation revealed two suspects had followed Mr. Le to the parking lot where one suspect approached Le as he was exiting his vehicle. A short altercation took place and Le was shot multiple times. Both suspects then fled in a gold-colored sedan. Paramedics transported Le to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation identified Hawkins and Robertson as suspects in this case. Hawkins, who was already in custody on an unrelated charge and case, was subsequently charged on June 1, 2018. Officers arrested Robertson on Friday, June 17, 2022, and he was subsequently charged. The investigation is ongoing with additional suspects being sought.
