July 25, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding another man and one juvenile male at 14300 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road about 10:25 p.m. on Saturday (July 23).

The identity of the deceased victim, 19, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

The other victims, 18 and 16, were transported by private vehicle to an area hospital and are expected to survive their wounds.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Persad and A. Grimes reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. Officers learned two other victims were transported by private vehicle to an area hospital and are expected to survive.

Preliminary investigation indicated two suspects walked to the victims, who were inside a parked vehicle, and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle. The suspects fled the scene.
