February 14, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 8103 MLK Boulevard about 8 p.m. last Friday (February 11).

The identity of the victim, 28, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Glover and Detective L Osborn reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.  

Further investigation and evidence from the scene determined the victim and an unidentified suspect were involved in an altercation before the shooting. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
