February 10, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9100 Burdine Street about 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday (February 9).  

The identity of the victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives N. Hernandez and L. Patterson reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a call for assistance from Houston Fire Department paramedics at the above address.  Officers arrived to find paramedics providing medical assistance to a man on the sidewalk (victim).  Paramedics pronounced the man deceased.  

Witnesses stated at least one gunshot was heard and then the victim was found on the ground.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
