February 7, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1221 Redford Street #1408C about 11:40 p.m. on Sunday (February 6).

The identity of the victim, 21, is pending family notification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Jimenez and Detective S. Overstreet reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address.  Witnesses reported an unknown suspect forced his way inside the apartment and shot the victim multiple times after a physical altercation.  The suspect then fled on foot.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
