August 24, 2022 - Houston police have released a surveillance photo of a vehicle of interest in the shooting of a juvenile female at 3322 Yellowstone Boulevard about 2:55 a.m. on Jan. 1.

The vehicle is believed to be a dark-colored sedan, possibly with aftermarket tire rims. A surveillance photo of the vehicle is attached to this news release.

The victim, 4 years old, was transported to an area hospital and was later released.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Carroll and J. Roberts reported:

A suspect or suspects fired several shots into an apartment at the above address as four adults and two children were inside the apartment. One of the children was struck in the torso as she slept. She was transported in a private vehicle to an area hospital where she underwent surgery.

Further investigation revealed the vehicle pictured below was seen in the area at the time of the incident.

At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive..
