Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2777 Woodland Park Drive
August 15, 2022 - A fatal crash at 2777 Woodland Park Drive about 1:15 a.m. today (Aug. 15) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the male victim, 1, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer J. Trevino reported:
The male driver, 33, of a white Alfa Romeo Stelvio was driving away after a party at a home at the the above address when the vehicle struck the infant. The driver transported the child and his parents to HCA Houston Healthcare West, where doctors pronounced the infant deceased.
The driver was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released. The investigation will be referred to the Harris County grand jury.
