August 9, 2022 - Houston police have learned a male pedestrian critically injured in a crash at 9000 West F.M. 1960 about 11:35 p.m. on August 3 has died.

The identity of the male is pending notification to family members by Montgomery County Forensic Services.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer D. Hoang reported:

The driver of a white Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling eastbound on West F.M. 1960 when he struck the male standing in the roadway. The male was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in critical condition. Doctors pronounced him deceased on Saturday (August 6).

The driver of the pickup truck, who remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.

The investigation is continuing.
