August 8, 2022 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 20900 Birnamwood Boulevard about 8 a.m. on July 5.

The suspect, Dafore Harris, 22, is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. A booking photo of Harris is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Kenny Page, 48.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Condon and J. Brown reported:

HPD officers responded to the above address after a passerby found the victim, later identified as Mr. Page, on the side of the roadway. Officers observed Page had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Further investigation identified Harris as the suspect in this case. He was subsequently charged and arrested on Sunday (Aug. 7) without incident.
