September 27, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11230 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road about 2:10 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 26).

The victim, Adrian Journet, 31, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Bowling and A. Hernandez reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call to a hotel at the above address and located Mr. Journet inside a room.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  The unknown suspect, described only as a black male with short hair, fled the scene before officers arrived.  Paramedics were called and pronounced Journet deceased.
