October 26, 2021 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man fatally shot at 8900 South Braeswood Boulevard about 10:45 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 24).

The victim is identified as Torrance Johnson, 43.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

Mr. Johnson was shot multiple times while outside of a convenience store at the above address.  He stumbled into the store after the shooting.  Paramedics were called and pronounced Johnson deceased.

The suspect is described only as a young black male who fled the scene.
