November 29, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 15000 Main Street about 1:50 a.m. on Saturday (Nov. 27).

The identity of the female victim, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Hroch and Officer V. Nguyen reported:

The victim was driving a black Ford Explorer that was either stopped or traveling at a low rate of speed westbound at the above address when the vehicle was struck from behind by a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck. 

Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.  The female passenger, 48, of the Explorer was transported to a hospital in stable condition. 

The male driver, 47, of the F-150 sustained a leg injury and was transported to a hospital in stable condition.  He was questioned, did not show signs of intoxication and consented to a blood draw. 

No charges have been filed at this time.  The investigation is continuing.
