November 16, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4016 Reid Street that occurred about 5 a.m. on Monday (November 15).  

The victim is identified as Kelton Sam, 44.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Hollohazy and M. Arrington reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a residence the above address after a neighbor found Mr. Sam unresponsive and lying on the sidewalk.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Sam deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.  Sam's front door had been kicked in and his vehicle, a tan 2005, Lexus RX, with Texas license plates KHP-5059, had been taken from the scene.  

At this time, there is no known suspect description.
