November 01, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of three men at 4560 West 34th Street about 11 p.m. last Friday (October 29).
The victims, Nathan Sample, 25, Sean Blake, 25, and Antonio Herrera, 31, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives F. Lee and J. Windham reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting outside a corner store at the above address and learned Messrs. Sample, Blake and Herrera had been shot by an unknown suspect. All three men were transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation determined one of the men attempted to talk to an unknown female. The suspect, who was with the female, got upset and stated the female was not interested and to move along. Shortly after the verbal exchange, one of the men drove away and started to make a U-turn, when the suspect, along with another male, walked into the street and shot at the victims' vehicle. Sample and Blake were struck by the gunfire and Herrera suffered a graze wound to the chest. The unknown suspects, described only as black males, fled the scene.
