May 17, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11211 South Post Oak Road that occurred about 5:45 a.m. on Sunday (May 16).  

The victim is identified as Rogelio Carrizales, 33.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Grimes and K. Persad reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex parking lot at the above address and found Mr. Carrizales laying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Carrizales deceased.  

Witnesses reported hearing three gunshots in the parking lot and then saw a gray Nissan Rogue exiting the parking lot immediately after the shooting.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
