June 23, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 13010 Breezy Meadow Lane about 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday (June 22).  

The identity of the male victim, 57, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Johnson reported:  

The victim was driving a green Raptor 700R All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV)  northbound near the above address when a mechanical failure (likely a loose bolt) occurred, causing the victim to lose control.  The front tire locked up and the victim was ejected.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, where he was pronounced deceased.  

A preliminary investigation indicated the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.  

The investigation is continuing.
