June 22, 2021 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the apparent fatal stabbing of a female at 6500 Dunlap Street about 2:05 p.m. on Monday (June 21).  

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Watson and E. Attebury reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a possible suicide call to an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim in a locked bedroom.  She had suffered apparent stab wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased.  

The investigation is pending the female's cause of death.
