June 1, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3101 Sage Road about 5:50 p.m. on Saturday (May 29).

The victim, Zachariah Gardner, 21, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives Z. Brumley and C. Vaughn reported:

Mr. Gardner was standing in a hotel parking garage at the above address.  A gray-colored Chevrolet Malibu reversed into a parking space and a back passenger rolled down his window and shot Gardner.  The shooter and vehicle then fled the scene.
