June 1, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5369 Antoine Drive about 8:15 p.m. last Friday (May 28).

The identity of the female victim, 26, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Clark and Officer W. Smith reported:

According to a witness, the woman was driving a tan Ford Explorer at a high rate of speed northbound at the above address when the vehicle struck a curb, left the roadway, and crashed into a business where it also struck a parked vehicle.  The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.  Two juvenile passengers, ages 3 and 5, were transported to Texas Children’s Hospital with minor cuts.

The investigation is continuing.
