February 15, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash at 9700 Hammerly Boulevard that occurred about 3:10 a.m. on Sunday (February 14).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Officer T. Smith reported:

The victim was driving a red Scion TC eastbound at the above address when the vehicle veered into the median and struck a tree.  The vehicle then rolled over onto the westbound lanes and the victim was ejected.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.
