February 8, 2021 - A female pedestrian critically injured in a crash at 6200 Westheimer Road about 7:10 p.m. on February 2 has died.  

The identity of the female, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Reinoso and Officer M. Burton reported:  

The driver of a white Nissan NV200 was traveling eastbound near the above address and struck the victim as she attempted to cross Westheimer, not in a crosswalk.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced her deceased on Sunday (February 7).  The driver of the Nissan was determined not to be intoxicated and was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center with minor injuries. 

No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation is continuing.
