December 28, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 8400 Tate Street about 10 p.m. last Friday (Dec. 24).

The identity of the victim, 18, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective M. Perez reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the victim on the side of the roadway.  He had suffered at least one gunshot wound.  Responding HFD paramedics pronounced the man deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) description.
