December 28, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 9300 Westheimer Road about 5:50 a.m. on December 26.  

The identity of the male victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer J. Tran reported:  

A red Jeep Liberty was traveling westbound near the above address when it failed to stay in a single lane and struck a curb on the north side of the roadway.  The Jeep then rolled over and struck a sign and a brick wall before coming to a stop in a parking lot.  The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.
