April 30, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8801 Glencrest Street about 7:30 p.m. on Thursday (April 29).  

The victim, Geronimo Hernandez, 57, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Cimeni and A. Barker reported:  

Mr. Hernandez was approached by two unknown male suspects in his apartment complex at the above address.  The suspects robbed Hernandez at gunpoint and one suspect shot him in the back of the head.  The suspect then stole Hernandez's phone and wallet, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.  Paramedics were called and transported Hernandez to the hospital.  

The suspects are described only as two black males.
