April 22, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 1100 Boone Loop Road about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday (April 21).  

The victim, Kyerica German, 22, was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer K. Saulsberry reported:  

Ms. German, a male friend, and his cousin, were riding in her vehicle westbound near the above address.  As they approached a stop sign at the intersection of Boone Loop Road and Boone Road, a blue sedan approached their vehicle from behind.  The vehicle drove around to the driver's side and an unknown suspect inside the sedan fired several shots, striking German multiple times.  No one else in the vehicle was wounded.  The suspect then fled the scene norrthbound on Boone Road.  

The male friend, who was driving German's vehicle, drove northbound on Boone Road to the 11800 block of Bandlon Drive and called police.
