April 16, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 11506 Haviland Street that occurred about 3 p.m. on Thursday (April 15).

The victim, 34, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer J. Kimbrough reported:

The victim was talking to a male in a business parking lot at the above address.  She then walked away and was approached by the suspect.  They began arguing and the suspect hit the victim.  The suspect then went to his vehicle, retrieved a gun and shot the victim multiple times.  The suspect fled the scene.
